1. General Terms
By booking a taxi through our platform, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and this Refund Policy.
Our goal is to ensure fair treatment for both customers and drivers while maintaining smooth operations.
2. Cancellation by Customer
Customers may cancel a booking by contacting our customer support or via the website/WhatsApp booking link.
Cancellation charges depend on how much time remains before the trip’s scheduled start time:
Time Before Scheduled Pickup Cancellation Charge
More than 6 hours No charge (Full refund if prepaid)
2 to 6 hours 25% of the total fare or advance paid
Less than 2 hours / No Show 50% to 100% of the total fare (non-refundable)
“No Show” refers to a situation where the driver arrives at the pickup location but the customer is not available or fails to answer calls.
3. Cancellation by RRS CABS BANGALORE
If we are unable to provide the booked taxi due to unforeseen reasons such as vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, or technical issues, we will:
Offer an alternate vehicle of the same or higher category (if available), or
Provide a full refund of any advance payment made.
4. Refund Procedure
Refunds are processed only for eligible cancellations or service failures verified by our support team.
Refunds will be initiated using the same payment method used during booking (UPI, credit/debit card, wallet, etc.).
Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval.
In case of delays caused by banks or payment gateways, we will not be responsible for extended processing time.
5. Advance & Partial Payments
Any advance payment made for trip confirmation will be adjusted against the total fare at the end of the trip.
If the customer cancels after vehicle dispatch, driver fuel and time charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Refunds for Shorter Trips / Early Drop
If the actual trip ends earlier or covers a shorter distance than the minimum package booked, no refund will be provided for unused kilometers or time.
Similarly, for round-trip bookings, if the return journey is not taken, the full booked fare will still apply.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any refund-related concerns must be raised via email or phone within 48 hours of trip completion or cancellation.
Our team will verify the trip details and communicate the resolution within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Force Majeure
No refund will be issued for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, accidents, or traffic restrictions.
